This add-on is essentially an upstream switching option. You can switch hosts easily and also get power supplied through the USB-C-Switch Pro.
This software add-on feature is tied to specific USB-C-Switch Pro serial numbers and enables serial control via the RS232 interface on the external expanson header. Commands and usage by serial commands is defined in the USB-C-Switch Pro reference documentation.
