MikroTik 2.4GHz Dipole Outdoor Antenna

The MikroTik ACOMNIRPSMA is a high-quality 2.4 GHz dipole antenna with 5 dBi gain, designed to deliver reliable and even wireless coverage in outdoor and multipoint network deployments. Operating across the 2400–2500 MHz ISM band, it fully supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless standards. With a 360-degree horizontal radiation pattern and linear polarization, the antenna provides consistent signal distribution in all directions, making it ideal for access points serving multiple clients simultaneously. The antenna uses a PCB design with a 50 Ω impedance, ensuring stable performance and compatibility with MikroTik wireless devices. It is particularly well suited for the BaseBox product series, offering a cost-effective way to build omnidirectional outdoor access points with dependable signal quality.

By attaching two ACOMNIRPSMA antennas to a BaseBox2, you can easily create a 2×2 MIMO 2.4 GHz access point, effectively turning the device into a compact “2.4 GHz OmniTik”-style solution. This configuration is ideal for outdoor campus networks, including campgrounds, trailer parks, marinas, and other open public areas where wide, uniform coverage is required. The antenna features a weatherproof and corrosion-resistant ABS housing, allowing reliable outdoor operation without additional protection. When both antennas are properly installed, the BaseBox can be used without its top cover, simplifying deployment. With a compact 147 mm length, a weight of only 30 g, and an RP-SMA male connector, installation is fast and flexible. The antenna operates reliably in temperatures from -30 °C to +85 °C.
